Appointments

Booking an appointment

To see a clinician you will be taken through our triage system which is designed to make sure you get the help you need as fast as possible.

The triage system means that a team of clinicians will assess your symptoms before giving you an appointment based on your clinical need rather than the time that you contact the surgery.

That means that we have done away with the 8.30am rush for appointments! You can call or book onlin at any time during the day and we can make the appropriate appointment for you.

Book online using the Anima online triage system

Anima is an online platform which seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record, improving how you access care and appointments, and how our staff assess your condition.

Home visits

The doctors will visit patients who are housebound. Please telephone 0114 2454834 as early as possible if you think a visit may be necessary.  This allows the doctor time to arrange visits in order of need.

The doctor will usually visit between 12 noon and 3pm.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
